Capron & Avgerinos – Chicago, IL – Capron & Avgerinos is a Chicago-based law firm that has been a CBI client since 2001. Over the past several years, we have assisted with the firm’s practice management software, installed a DSL connection, set up and implemented a wireless network, set up VPN (virtual private network) connections, installed an InstaGate firewall and a UPS (uninterruptible power supply), and handled other standard computer/network maintenance issues such as printers, junkware elimination, Windows updates, etc. When the management at Capron & Avgerinos decided to move from the Novell platform to the Windows platform in early 2004, CBI consultants coordinated the purchase of the new equipment and oversaw the conversion to their new system.
Carroll, Hartigan & Cerney, Ltd – Chicago, IL – is a Chicago-based law firm that has been a CBI client since 2000. Over the years, CBI consultants have assisted firm personnel with many office technology support needs, including network/PC maintenance, printer support, InstaGate firewall installation and configuration, VPN (virtual private network) setup and configuration, junkware elimination, and more. Carroll, Hartigan & Cerney also works with the WORLDOX electronic document management system, which CBI consultants have also consulted on and supported.
Center For Wellness and Weight Management – Worth, IL – CBI has been serving The Center for Wellness and Weight Management since mid-2004, having been referred to the Center by the accounting firm of McGreal, Johnson & McGrane (also a CBI client). Since then, in addition to routine system maintenance, CBI consultants have installed a DSL connection, updated QuickBooks, helped with Treo synching issues, installed a firewall/VPN server, set up a home wireless system along with a computer and printer, upgraded the server operating system and worked with eClinicalWorks, the Center’s electronic medical records and practice management solution.
E.J. Mullins – Berwyn, IL – E.J. Mullins, a family-owned international food broker, has been a CBI client since 1998. Over the years, CBI consultants have provided a wide variety of support services to E.J. Mullins, including implementing a new server and workstations as well as developing a website and a custom database designed specifically for their business. Other services provided since E.J. Mullins & Co. became a CBI client include set up of an internally hosted e-mail server, routine computer/network maintenance issues and the set up and maintenance of wireless networks and home systems for some employees, including remote access solutions.
U.S. Trailer – Chicago (Midway Area), IL – U.S. Trailer, a semi-trailer parts distributor, became a CBI client in early 2004. Since that time, in addition to many routine computer/network maintenance issues, CBI consultants have also assisted U.S. Trailer with many different office technology issues, including maintenance of their fax server, installation and configuration of an InstaGate firewall, and assistance with support for Profit 21, U.S. Trailer’s enterprise distribution software solution. CBI consultants have also traveled to U.S. Trailer’s Wisconsin and Ohio offices to support their various office technology support needs.
